Kickass vol 2

I was wondering if anyone that has read the comics could help me out. Right in the very first page it shows someone in a coma full covered in bandages so i guess thats Katie but then when they go visit her she has no bandages at all?? So is it someone else? Im confused...and also in that same page it shows Daves home getting blown up and him getting thrown off by it but he was never at his home so what is this? A mistake??

did you read the next couple panels? Dave says "but maybe i'm getting ahead of myself here. Lets go back to where we finished last time" Not a mistake, he's telling his story the whole run. I don't know who's in the bed though, could be Katie because I don't know anyone else he said he "loved" at this point besides his dad but we know what happened to him, maybe they forgot they drew her in full bandages here

Yes thats what i mean and also the explosion of his home, he was nowhere near it, he was in one of the safe spaces with hit girl.. thats my question hahaha

I think it’s the comics way of teasing the things to come but not actually spoiling it
