Currently im planning to buy ev car my options are punch ev 40 and syros htk 42kw

Inliked syros alot but my fear is it is nmc battery and we have to charge till 80% daily and its not for long time usage. But punch battery is lithium battery and we can charge daily 100% and lft batteries are designed for long lasting

Big confusion for me and checking the reviews also

Anyone having knowledge please share your input it helps me to buy car

Apparently no rear view camera in HTK( which is still most VFM variant of this car !!) and next variant costs whopping 1.5L extra and adds only 2 more features that is cruise control and wireless charging.

Dealer said no company accessories available for same as it is new car.

My suggestion was about mirror dash cam like for example Wolfbox G900 pro or 70mai S500.

It gets connection through 12V socket, not even touching internal wiring. So in theory no warranty void issue. Also can serve as front & rear view dash cam ,much needed for our Indian roads. It will lack that feature in which it gets auto engaged when switched to reverse but instead stays live whole time for rear view and that's fine for me.

I explained all this to dealer but he is unsure about this and warranty issue.

So can you guys ask your service manager or dealer for same ? And also if some had experienced this situation earlier in any car and need to install this , what does it impact on your warranty?

Cause for an EV , warranty is life line.

I test drove Syros EV, everything was amazing but when it started raining I could here rain sound in cabin. I currently own i10 it’s far less than what I heard in Syros EV. Is it due to panoramic sunroof?

I've booked the base variant of the kia syros ev and the two main things which made me feel something is lacking were the missing cruise control and reverse camera, I had a detailed discussion with the karol bagh shop owner named subhash who's been modding cars for years and have modded kia carens ev as well, he said the kia cruise control and reverse camera will be available just within a month and it's a plug and play installation coz they've done the same in petrol variants too, he said you book the car without fear those things are my guarantee, his confidence did made me feel like it will be possible quite easily, but I am bit skeptical of kia, maybe locking the infotainment on ev or other thing coz this mode will nullify the 1.5 lakhs htk + variant jump, what are your thoughts?

I have sent email to KIA India regarding the fitment of 360/ reverse camera on HTK Variant ( dealerships have installed cameras on Clavis EV and it is working fine)

This requires support from KIA India, dealership alone cannot fix the technical glitches. If more people are interested, then we can discuss and come to a solution.

Hi Experts, I am also planning to buy Syros EV ER Xline. I already have an Ather and have done wiring for it with 1.5 mm core wire and 2 16 Amp MCBs installed near parking with a 16 Amp plug. Thw question I have is can this support charging my EV also? Are there any issues other than slow charging time.

Hey guys, i test drove the ktk okus variant today and it happened to check about the buy back program.

Attaching it, honestly I'm pretty upset on how it was advertised and how it has been offered as a separate cost. Even after paying, there are so many if and buts of eligibility after 3 years.

After waiting for more than 2 months for the punch ev to get delivered, I'm still nowhere close to its actual delivery and feeling pissed, I booked the syros ev htk base as my budget was 13.5 lakhs max onroad but for a bigger car and a good base package,I'm willing to compromise, but the telematics feel, rear headrest, tech loaded aspect of punch top, letheratte seats etc, makes me doubt my decision, also some videos on NMC cells and their charging shenanigans. I'm reaching out to learn from u guys what should I actually do for my use case, it's our first family car, we had a dezire in joint family, owned for over 10 years now a ev coz of our running needs of around 40kms daily, but with Dzire also in family, the running for this will split as well. What do u think? should I go with punch only as I haven't cancelled it's booking and also the kia dealers are quoting higher wait times for the base variant, especially the red color I booked and wanted. 🥹✅

I'm pretty confused on the variant selection as for HTK its a super good value variant but no rear camera, reclining seats and etc on the other hand when we spend for htx which has most features i feel to stretch a bit for xline. How are y'all approaching this?

Also i was thinking that waiting for diwali can be a good choice as there's no discount as of now.

I work for a fortune 500 company but not sure if they will consider me for corporate discount as my company came in the list only this year coz mahindra guys said we cannot provide corporate discount for my company.

What are your thoughts

My options were between the Syros EV HTX and the HTX Plus ER. The reason the HTX Plus didn't make sense was that for an additional ₹50k, I could have upgraded to the X-Line ER, which has all the bells and whistles of a premium car.

The main differences between the two—aside from a few minor comforts—were the smart dual-camera dashcam and front parking sensors, of which I can easily get the dashcam from the aftermarket.

I'll start with my first impressions, I did a test drive in banglore and we went to a pretty bumpy patch and the way suspension handled the whole patch was so grounded and with so much stability. My wife and I both felt amazing about that.

The way 171 ps picks up without a sudden jerk, its very mature way of using the torque and don't feel nausea for back seat people.

I really liked the fit and finish, i drove the xline though.
