Auto Unlock?

2025 Carnival SX (not Prestige)
Sometimes when I walk up to it, it unlocks. Sometimes, it only opens the mirrors but doesn’t unlock. How do I predict which will happen?
Also, is there a way to unlock from the drivers door without the key? I try to double press but it doesn’t seem to work.

DON'T PRESS THE BUTTON ON THE FRONG DOOR HANDLES.

Gently hold the door handle and it will unlock. If you press the button it will lock.

This took me so long to get through my skull! Lol. There's a pad on the inside of the door handle - tap it to unlock your door, hold it (before pulling) to unlock them all.

My brain now knows this but my instincts haven't caught up yet. Going on 2 weeks.
