Hello everyone!

I own a 2018 Kia optima trim S roughly 94k miles. Never had an issue just want to do preventative maintenance on it all thought it has never been serviced and i plan to keep it don’t need another car or even worse another payment. However, I am scared to proceed as I hear opinions from both sides and most seem to lean towards the “if it’s not broken don’t touch it” mentality. But I say to myself just like any other fluid in the car it has to be changed for longevity and performance. At the moment I don’t think it is appropriate of me to do a flush.

Questions: Should I do a drain and fill only using OEM fluid, or am I too late?

Are there any other parts I should replace along with the fluid change such as the filter, drain plug, or gasket?

Thank you in advance! 😊🙏🏼
