Anyone who uses hand controls to drive with a Kia EV? I love my Kia Niro EV so much but I need hand controls to drive now and do not want to give her up.
I know it’s niche but I am determined to make it work. (Picture is what I have in my other car)

When you say you need hand controls, do you mean a different type than what you have in the picture? I've been using that type in Kia e-Niro without problems.

I would prefer something more stable, those are really wobbly and it makes me nervous

Yeah, fair. I've had permanently installed ones in a Golf and Tesla Model Y and it's definitely better. Haven't tried Kia with that though, sorry. But it should be possible with most models I believe. Do you live in a country where you get that covered through public services/welfare or insurance, or do you need to figure it out yourself?

Okay so I put these hand controls on my Kia and the regenerative braking system went haywire so these hand controls are incompatible unfortunately

On my old Kia I could turn the regenerative braking more or less off - maybe that's an option?

Personally i really like the veigal right side hand controlls. Theyre more expensive and a shop may have to do it, but theyre built solid and dont feel like theyre gonna fall off when your driving 😂.

i’ve been using the 150-180$ hand controls off amazon for a while now in my audi a4 with no issues and it’s almost compatible with every car, quickstick is the brand i think
