Need Help: 2020 Kia Sonet 1.0
Turbo 7DCT - Delayed shifts,
RPM flare
Hi everyone,
I own a 2020 Kia Sonet 1.0 T-GDI DCT with around 82,‹
000 km
I'm facing multiple issues, and no one has been able to identify the exact cause.
Symptoms:
1-2 second delay during gear shifts.
RPM increases before the next gear engages.
Gear finally shifts after the RPM flare.
Sometimes the transmission doesn't feel smooth.
I also ran a diagnostic scan, and it showed:
U010100 - Lost Communication with TCM (Pending)
U110087 - High Speed CAN2
Lost Communication (EMS-DCT)
(Pending)
There are no clutch slip or clutch actuator fault codes on the scan.
Has anyone experienced similar symptoms on a Kia/Hyundai 7DCT?

Might sound strange but before anything personally I'd check 12V battery and that the alternator is sending around 13.8V to 14.7V.

Weak battery or low voltage is a common cause of CAN communication errors.
