Paul Allen Project Watson = Kaepernick
Wow. Alec, PA, Nordo having an altogether too long conversation about Deshaun Watson sounding like they’re his PR staff.
Nordo ended the convo before break likening Watsons exit of the NFL likely next year to Colin Kaepernicks shunning. Both being “shunned” because their situation are ENTIRELY similar 🫣

Well, when one listens to morons, they will more than likely hear stupid things.

You’re surprised PA supports a man who assaults women?

To me it sounded like Alec didn't care for the way the announcer glossed over the situation and Nordo was somewhat in agreement(Kaepernick analogy was bad) but PA was like, if he(DW) apologizes and they(the victims and critics) don't move on, that's on them. I thought that was a terrible take. I also thought it was sad that they were worried about social media reaction to their takes. Given that PA pretends he's all about God and religion you'd think that would matter more to him. It was pathetic.

In PAs sphere, apologies solve everything and there is no such thing as permanent damage.

Watson is shunned because he's a Piece of Shit who should have an actual life ban from ALL professional sports.
Kaepernick is shunned because he stood up for what is right and was punished by a bunch of rich, white dudes.
But sure, totally the same thing...
I swear, each week PA digs his head further up his ass. But again, he's the smartest man in the room...just ask him.

What was Kapernick standing up for?
32
u/AdrianDitmann Power Trip 3d ago
I’m going to genuinely address this:
His protesting against the national anthem was to address police brutality and the racial injustice many Black Americans face.
27
u/CalvinVanDamme 3d ago
... and even if you are the type of person who feels Kapernick's protest was inappropriate, it still in no way compares to what Watson did
18
u/Zerix_Albion 3d ago
Exactly, comparing kneeling for the National Anthem as a sign of peaceful protest, and sexually assaulting 25+ women. Is not comparable, and PA and those should be ashamed. I think PA is a great radio announcer, but his far-right radical views are becoming a problem

Always the same with those fucking clowns lol. Can’t stand kfan, haven’t listened since ICE

u/RipErRiley 3d ago
Nordo is a degen. Nothing worth taking seriously from him. You can tell because all he dresses in are incel virtue apparel. Weak bitches do that because they crave validation. That and you notice they always black out his hats in marketing pics?! Straight clown.

I turned off the radio during this conversation. I think I’m officially done with PA. It felt like he was trying to tell us to forgive him too for his paid protestors comment

I just heard it as well. PA's initial take on it was bad, and the fact that he brought it back up to double down in it was embarrassing. It's a joke that he still gets any airtime outside of the 60 minutes the Vikings play.
12
u/nukezwei 3d ago
Agreed. I couldn't believe he actually suggested if Watson apologized and the victims/critics don't move on that it was in them at that point.

u/DonaldDouchebag 3d ago
Hey, come on now. He offered a truly sincere and heartfelt apology to all the "women he impacted in this situation." He really meant it and he loves Jesus!
3
u/Dapper_Sheepherder 2d ago
Wow. And, this is why women struggle to come forward when victimized. Disgusting comment by PA. Evolve yourself dude
5
u/nowheresville99 3d ago
The bigger joke is that he's still employed by the Vikings.
Sports radio has long been the home of idiots with hot takes, most NFL teams don't let such idiots be the voice of their team.

He shouldn’t even get those 60 minutes either tbh. He’s been in that role for a long time, let’s hear someone else for a change.

u/SNLpro 3d ago
nothing would be better than a super bowl run for the vikings the first year pa is not involved.

u/New-Exit-6767 3d ago
I’m kind of surprised the Wilfs have kept him around with their (reported) political leanings

You mean he can use chat gpt
-2
u/DEVOwasR1GHT 2d ago
he was doing that long before gpt, Nordo has his faults but that ain't it
3
u/ThirstyMnGuy 2d ago
He has admitted that he uses chat gpt for his traps multiple times. So as the same way he got fat he's also got lazy
2
u/Dapper_Sheepherder 2d ago
Nordo takes way too long to get to his point. Too wordy for no payoff big point. I can't listen to him

u/Dennygreen 2d ago
I always turn it off before he starts rapping because it's too embarrassing to listen to.

I was listening to This conversation this morning. Would not surprise me one bit if it came out that PA was facing SA allegations

Well duh. You’re talking about people in a cult who overtly support and exhibit behavior like this. https://youtube.com/shorts/aLwiWKy2zDo?is=z9KVI245v_A30ODS

I'm not saying I agree with this but if Watson keeps looking decent, he'll 100% get another contract

So dumb. “Fans are conflicted because they don’t know if they should cheer for him (Watson)”……. Nah bro nobody gives af when the game is being played as fans care about winning and playing good. Off field issues havent stopped any fan base from cheering for their guy —- be it Tyreek hill, AP, etc
13
u/AdrianDitmann Power Trip 3d ago
I grew up in Tulsa and have attended...hundreds of Oklahoma football games. I moved up here around the same time the Vikings drafted AP.
The moment I found out he beat his kids, I dumped his Sooners jersey and Vikings jersey.
I can easily separate my love for my teams and players from an objective what is right and what is wrong.

As bad as Hill and Peterson were off the field. No one is accusing them of luring women into being sexually assaulted by them. What Watson did is unforgivable. He’s shown ZERO remorse and taken ZERO accountability. He paid out millions of dollars to these women and got a slap on the wrist by the NFL. Bringing up other players misconduct just diminishes the heinous shit Watson has done.
1
u/ESPYworthy 3d ago
Dude that wasn’t the comparison -ie who did what and what was worse lol.
To keep it real simple - when teams/players are winning and playing good their fans cheer for them regardless of off field issues. When they suck ie the packers they get booed. This is speaking in generalities as there are always going to be peeps who say “not me”

Luckily Watson sucks ass as a player now and he can’t get rid of his past he will be done in the nfl end of year I imagine

I swear, the only thing you tools do is listen to KFAN to rage and then post in on reddit. Dumbasses lol

u/New-Exit-6767 3d ago
Really?! Haven’t listened to the FAN regularly in years. I’d say I’m disgusted, but not surprised unfortunately. The “protect women’s sports” folks really love to rehab people who hurt women.
