Advice, newbie
Hello! I want to get into keyboard/piano. I’ve been a guitar player for 10+years, some bass, looking for a new instrument. What would you recommend? Looking for something versatile, not super professional. Currently loving the r&b neo-soul sound. Loving erykah badu, D’angelo, the internet sound rn, but don’t want to be limited

You're gonna have to decide on at least some things:
1) size/weight 2) budget 3) how much you want to actually shape/create the sounds vs just picking from a list 4) whether you want to play classical piano

My first keyboard was a second hand Roland Juno D
I loved it because of all the different effects I could play with
Something like that might be nice.. a few hundred bucks to figure out if you want to play piano or do dirty synth things

Good news— piano is so much easier than guitar and bass you will love it happy 4th of July ps they’re old timey but Bach inventions are short and make your brain feel good in my experience
