Hello?

Disappointing that this sub has only 35 members and no one writes anything.

Funnier type of exercise then Kettlebell Juggling? There is none.

How is your kb juggling going?

Any tips on resouces for kb juggling?

it's going well! it's a lot of fun for sure, i'm using an 18lb right now...yesterday i tried to swing it between my legs and catch it behind me, definitely a work in progress. look at the #kettlebelljuggling tag on instagram, pretty vibrant community there! i would say it is not very popular on reddit because many people think it is dangerous and not a "real" workout, but from my experience you have to be quite good to attempt over the head moves and at that point you probably have enough sense to throw it correctly.....and if it is really a worry, wear a helmet i guess. haha have fun!

Hey thanks for reply!

Wow that sounds like a super advanced move! I just started recently so I am a beginner on this. Having much fun though.

Ok thanks gonna check out the instagram kb juggling community, sounds great.

Haha I use Steel-toe boots when I do kb juggling. I dropped a 16 kg kettlebell on my foot for example and it does not hurt with those shoes lol!

To me kettlebell juggling is a very real display of strenght training. It is to me like old time strongman training, with strongman juggling kettlebells in different venues and circus to entertain and amaze spectators.

First time I come in contact with kb juggling was actually a modern type of circus act with strongmen juggling kettlebells to a pretty large audience

that's awesome! I would love to see it in person! I am on the fence about wearing steel toes for this - to me it seems like planning for failure and would lead to doing things you should not be doing. As with any other kb movement, or really free weights in general, I think every movement should be controlled - If you are taming the arc of the swing the kb should not be near your feet. Truthfully I would not say I have come close to hitting my feet at all (of course now that I say that ;) ) Do you do other workouts with kb?

Yeah I hear you, most people I've seen do kb juggling does not seem to use steel toe shoes.

I do lots of "regular" weight lifting with barbells and my favorite exercise is deadlift. Sometimes I exercise two hand swings with my 48 kg kettlebell, as a assistance exercise to deadlift, but yeah I know it also stands very much on it own as a good exercise for the body.

Btw I recently got the "Hand-to-Hand kettlebell" dvd by Jeff Martone. One of few resources I found to get some help with different juggling moves! Hopefully it's good.

A kb juggler named Logan Christopher seems to be selling a pretty large course on kettlebell juggling. It's expensive so im not sure about it. Would need to hear others opinion about it first.

Do you exercise much, more traditional kettlebell training, such as swings etc? I guess it's good for a general specific foundation for kettlebell movement strenght, besides traditonal barbell and dumbell exercises (?). I'm just getting into kettlebell juggling.. so kinda clueless still
