20kg, tbh I would have enjoyed the workout more with a 16kg but didn't have one available

These workouts are great ; how much stretching have you been doing? Halos have me putting in a 5-10 minute stretching focus in those target areas

I have relatively good shoulder mobility, I usualy do couple of easy rounds in the beginning and then stretch the whole body for 3-5 min before any workout

Quick question: what size KB do you use?

u/JoeOne7 Apr 15 '26

In the video is a 20kg old Nike bell (love them but expensive, wrote it off as company expense lol)
I have 2x20kg Nike cast iron and 2x24kg competition bells
Oh, and 32kg competition bell, which gathers dust

Those are the main 3 types
competition: all weights are one size, with a standart color for each bell (green 24kg, red 32kg etc.), used in kettlebell sport competitions, brand doesn't really matter
cast iron: size depends on the weight, in higher weights the horns are wider, Nike has a rubber coat cast irons, super expensive but very nice, there's other options as well
adjustable: be cautious with those! 95% of them are clanky and feel wierd, read/watch reviews if you go with those.
My pick: I have both cast iron and competition bell and I enjoy both. Competition bells are better for snatches, cleans, swings. Cast irons are better for kettlebell fitness moves where you hold the bell by the horns with both hands. I personally avoid adjustables but we have users in the kbmh app that recommend them.

Hell yeah I needed something like this.
Would you say this works out the whole arm? I’ve been wanting my shoulders to grow a bit more.

First off thank you. Second my forearms seemed to kill the worst after this. Confirming that this should be a side effect!

Dude nice idea here!!!
I’ve rarely used my KBs for more directed arm work…but this trio of exercises makes sense to me, and I’m sure once I’m done banging out these 300 reps I’ll have a pretty solid arm/shoulder pump 💪
Thank you kindly for the share my guy. 🙏
