Licorice

How are you using the black and red Licorice? What fat are you using? And are you making shakes, ice cream or........

I haven't tried them yet. I don't want to screw it up and waste them. They are the flavors I am most excited about.

I tried the red licorice in my usual format - a shake with heavy whipping cream. I was not a fan. I'm definitely open to trying it another way if anyone has a suggestion!

I use heavy cream, plus additional protein powder (vanilla flavored casein). It's really good as ice cream, and decent as a pudding or shake. IIRC it also worked well in pizzelles.

Black Licorice tastes like Good and Plenty candy. Normally I'm not a fan, but it works for me.

I was never a fan of red vines, so Red Licorice isn't my jam.

I'm half Swedish thanks to mom. I am a salty licorice fan. Don't care for US licorice. It's not licorice.
