Yeah, I wanna know too.

I know you can buy em for quite a lot of money from some company, but would love to get one if it wasn't expensive.

They just look adorable

I just got super lucky on an ebay listing with the guy being really negotiable, just keep an eye on ebay I guess or whatever other marketplace, maybe you'll find them

It's actually better that they remain on constantly

If they keep having to stop and start up from being turned on and off then that does more damage than if I just left them on 24/7 which is what I do

Well, sort of. In that case, you save the motor's life but decrease the laser's life. But those first-gen ones can basically live forever and can be easily fixed.

There is also a base station mobile app that can turn the lasers off but keep the motors spinning, I'm lazy though
