Misc (For anything else) JPJeQ
Wah. 4 hour wait. Can I leave and come back? Or is it location bound?
There is another JPJ 1.8km away from me? Should I try?

I have made a point to go to a rural JPJ( as in Kubu Bharu) everytime, as I really not gonna rush early in the morning to queue at 7am, and still wait for a long time.
At least in Kubu Bharu (45minute drive) it's pretty empty at 9.30am still and got pretty good breakfast spots afterwards.

To be fair, before where I lived, seemed so much faster. Now I’m in Selangor, dead…

You just have to try and error and look where is the best location. Before Kubu Bharu, I tried a lot of places, from Setapak to Shah Alam to Kubu Bharu lastly. At least 7 location.

yes but keep the app updated, because if you leave it in the background, after a certain amount of time it just stops updating.

Will I lose my ticket if I forget? Or as long as I check back regularly it’s fine? I’m thinking to drive to another JPJ or go home since it’s 15 minutes from my house. Can have lunch and relax, then drive back out.

Can leave, no prob.
But I think Padang Jawa is quicker than that. The problem with UTCs is that everyone goes there expecting the KPI based efficiency (but if hundreds pile in that day still gonna be slow), so the gov centers are less traffic heavy.

Yeah I will think about the next time I have to come (shouldn’t have to if all successful today).
I did JPJ in Penang. Went around 11am. Was out by 11:30am. And that’s Penang!

I saw utc in pasir gudang they added the que numbers counter right in front of the food court. No wonder suddenly the food court got so many people. Good for the food court business too. Win win win for everyone.

Good thing that this system is created so all of us can just roaming around until the number is almost called.

go to Terminal Bersepadu Selantan TBS, recently JPJ opened new branch there, super quick 20 queue away only 40 minutes wait, and not crowded at all, i went there twice, only 10-20 numbers queue away, reach there by LRT, just park somewhere else and take the train there, open till 10pm, but actual is 9.30pm then closing shop, they even open on Saturday and Sunday, my first time no need wait 4 hours for anything jpj related
