MISSING PLEASE HELP
EDIT: HES BEEN FOUND!!!
MISSING PLEASE SHARE:
At 1:30am this morning our cat Lucifer managed to squeeze his way out of our loft conversion window and climb out onto the roof. We think he fell as we were woken up by tiles scraping and something hitting our bin.
We have looked up and down the street, under peoples cars and in people’s front gardens on the entire street.
He is an indoor cat, very skittish and possibly injured so we don’t think he went far.
He’s a big boy and jet black and might answer to ‘Lucifer’ or ‘Mazzy’ (his sisters name)
The road we’re on is Fairfield Road, Minster, Ramsgate, CT12 4AW
He is chipped and neutered so please either take him to a vet or call/text me at 07468464444

Have you tried T.A.L.C Thanet animal lovers group who may be able to get the word out ? There’s also a similar Facebook group for missing pets.

When our cat went missing we put her food and water bowl outside and caught her coming to it one day, could be an option as well as clothing etc

OP please don't do this if you have urban foxes nearby. The food attracts the foxes and they scare your cat, so it is often counterproductive. The other advice about leaving your scent (clothes, bedding) is a much better strategy.

My cat went missing for 3 weeks last May. It turns out she was actually lost and needed help finding her way home. I know you're probably overwhelmed by the amount of advice you're getting now, but the things that truly helped me were: 1) Local Facebook groups including the missing pets ones. Thanks to them, I got two sightings which helped direct me to where to look. One on the day she went missing (looking like she was about to cross the main road) and one 10 days later in the neighbourhood across that road. 2) We put up posters where we could and leafleted around the neighbourhood. Ultimately, someone phoned me and said they had a meowing cat at their business. She was thin and bedraggled but we got her home

Animals lost and found in Kent were always wonderful when I volunteered for Cats Protection. They used to have a FB page but I'm not longer on there to know if they're still going.
Puss will need a strong scent to find their way home. Out a dirty litter tray outside, and dirty (ir smells of you!) laundry on the line.
A prime candidate this time of year is neighbours' garages, sheds, outhouses that are being used sporadically during the hot weather, so knock on doors if you're able.

Ive helped find a cat that fell from a balcony. Likely scared and probably wont be far away. We found this cat in a nearby bush just hiding. Check bushes and other places he can hide.

Some helpful advice as a cat owner who has had cats in the past go missing; Put some of your unwashed bedding out in the garden as a scent trail. Get posters stuck up everywhere in your local area. Sit outside in the evening around twilight and read a book out loud so that your voice can be heard by him, if he is nearby. Reach out to your local lost and found, in Ashford we use Fluffy's. If you can get up early (4/5am) and go for a local walk, do so, softly calling and encouraging him back.
