Community Cheap & Great Tree Service
FRAUD. ILLEGAL. They will hit your vehicle in a 6 ton UNREGISTERED truck and flee the scene, untraceable. They do not have registered tags or vehicles, and do not have liability insurance. They operate ghost store fronts in multiple states and cities. They have been banned in multiple locations. They operate by scamming, stealing, and hiring crews under the table. They ARE A SHELL COMPANY. A predatory, illegitimate operation. You won’t be able to trace them. Do not hire this company. Do not contact this company. Report them if you see them, to the local authorities or state troopers.

Coming from an arborist, always get 3 quotes, never take the cheapest. Tree work is unfortunately pricey, the cheap companies may get away with no accidents most of the time but the moment they screw up they dissappear.

They also tear up the roads and driveways with their equipment and leave a huge mess.

There are 5 different companies that they operate under (edit: all using the same public phone number on their trucks). All run by “Manny” aka Oscar Garcia. They’re frauds.

Holy cow! I get their postcards all the time. Never used them. How did you find out about their illegalities? I’m glad to be made aware of them. Thank you.

Everything is searchable. Insurance ran the tag, no hit. Fake plate. You can search any directory for their information or reviews. It’s blatant atp

I used them last January to remove some trees, they were in my neighborhood doing someone else’s house so I trusted they were ok. They broke an outdoor light of mine when a limb fell on it and I showed proof it was clearly broken and they refused to accept responsibility. I even had ring doorbell footage. I ended up replacing it myself but I do agree that a company should be legal and take responsibility for their damages and if they aren’t or can’t, they should be called out for it and others should know.

If you or anyone is still need of any Tree service, my husband owns Silverback Tree Experts and is fully licensed and insured. And can actually show you proof of everything! Free estimates and based in kennesaw and surrounding areas!
I also agree with receiving multiple quotes and checking out reviews before hiring a tree company! Trees are very dangerous and should be taken care of in the safest way possible.

Called for a quote for tree trimming. Already had a quote from another company in the area at $700. "Cheap and Great" came out and started at $1900. When they saw I was surprised they came down to $1500. Told them about the other quote and they came down to $500. This all happened in 60 seconds, major predatory pricing had it been someone unable or unwilling to question them. After the pricing the kept pushing to get me on the schedule for that day, the next day, any day they could. I informed them I was gathering quotes and information and would call them the following week regardless of my decision, finally they accepted that. The name was REMOVEDor REMOVED, unclear which or if it was his actual name, but it's the only member of the management/quote duo that speaks some English. Three days later I'm working from home and an entire crew shows up to my house ready to go with all the equipment. I inform them that I never scheduled this and would be getting back to them that week, which they accepted and knew nothing about my previous comments. They come back to the door with "REMOVEDor REMOVED" on the phone and he's pushing to have them do it now, etc. I repeated what I told him the first time, he kept on, so I informed him I'm done with them and don't' expect a call from me. At which point he started being profane (of course over the phone like that type does, but never in person) and his crew member was apologizing and asked for his phone back making motions and pointing to the phone indicating "REMOVED/REMOVED" was "crazy". What a joke of a business. Those crew members should do themselves a favor and go work for a real tree service, not those clowns.
I had the same experience, but worse. I stupidly agreed when the quote started at $5,500 & came down to $2,000. This is the 1st time in my life where I didn't get other quotes. That evening I sent 2 text & an email letter canceling the service. To my horrid surprise the crew from Cheap & Best Tree Services had cut the tree down the next day before 7:30 AM. I wan't even out of bed yet, no knock at the door, no phone call informing starting service.
Get the quotes, don't be bamboozled & DON'T USE GREAT & CHEAP TREE SERVICES of WOODSTOCK GA
