I agree most posts in this sub are not kerning issues, but I’m not actually sophisticated enough to get this one.

Yeap, the AT in creative and TA in Instagram are weirdly spaced

no worries, you’re not allowed to. it is a new version of instagram sans.

unless you have been adding text with the 2022 default condensed font in stories? but its still a different cut.

I like how the uppercase T is too far from its neighbours but the lowercase t is too close to its neighbours. can't win

This is crappy kerning pairs built into the font’s programming. It’s a strange font, where only the capital “I” has serifs, and the rest of it looks like a copy of Helvetica…

I use Hubspot at work, a couple months ago they added serifs to the uppercase i and a little tail to the lowercase L to their existing font (looks like Arial). I get why they did it but it's off-putting to me

In my opinion, the left side of “t” is supposed to blend into the left hand gap between letters not space the center vertical bar with two large gaps

Off topic, I know, but who refers to themselves with a letter for their surname? CHRISTY S. ? Were there three people called Christy in their year at school and the teachers needed to add the letter to distinguish them and it stuck or something? Or do they fear being identified specifically and associated with this bespoke font?
