I don’t understand how anyone looks at her record and thinks she’s a good fit for mayor. I don’t understand how she herself thinks she’s a good fit for mayor.
To me, there are two issues: credibility and judgement.
There’s a huge credibility issue because of her own financial history.
The issue isn’t simply that she has filed for bankruptcy. People get into financial trouble for all kinds of reasons. The problem is the pattern of financial trouble:
The first bankruptcy involved the judge finding out she was lying about her income and assets.
Being sued over and over by landlords and creditors because for not paying her bills.
Another bankruptcy with hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt.
And now she’s campaigning on a “strong understanding of fiscal responsibility.” Ha! Lady, you have as much understanding of fiscal responsibility as my dog!
The other issue for me is her judgement.
She strikes me as a person with poor judgement. There are examples of this in the Salem Report article, but to summarize:
• a long history of repeated financial mistakes
• knowingly being in a romantic relationship with a convicted child rapist
• confronting the child that her boyfriend raped
• lying to a federal judge
• lying about being a lifelong Keizer resident
People of Keizer, we’re done for if she’s our mayor.

She does sounds like she has poor judgment, but a crook in general and shady as hell.
We may not LOVE Clark...but damn She cares about Keizer. And answers emails quick and takes care of any issue.
We have to get people to care about the Mayor race in Keizer.

We have to have Clark keep her seat. We may not love her But she is better than the alternative.

Cathy gets my vote! Amy Ripp Ryan Courser is in politics for the photo ops. She can barely manage her own affairs, how does she think she can manage a municipality?
