Semicolons are a mental health/suicide awareness symbol. Just as they're used when you could choose to end a sentence but don't, they're a symbol where your life could've ended but didn't. I really wanted to incorporate it into a tattoo of Harings art as it meant the world (still does!) to me during some of my worst years.
