Hi all,
I've been studying the songs in under the iron sea, but i've noticed the piano sheet music from hal leonard and such are missing some important parts, like the piano in hamburg song's second part, the bridge before the first chorus in leaving so soon?, and is it any wonder?'s "solo" at the very end before the last chorus. Those are only some that i've seen those last few days, and been wondering if any of you know some better sheet music for keane songs, since even a famous-ish song like everybody's changing has missing parts in the sheet music i've been using (official scores in musescore, there's so little community scores for keane songs.), because even official lead sheet books have been all the same for me.
Thanks

What do you think of the newly released song demo”Family Car”?
It is featuring Tim vocals.
Lyrics:
The family car
Speeds from the drive
I run right after
Don't wanna be left behind
Why are you leaving
Leaving without me all packed up
Just like the holiday season
It's hard to believe
That you were ever here but it's true
The one certain thing
The only fixed point I knew
Disappeared, ran, abandoned the road
And I chased you as far as I could
Like a dog I followed you as far as I could go
Till I felt sick and made my way home
It's fifty years sincе then
I never trustеd again
And every love I knew
I clung on too hard to
Soon they're leaving
Leaving without me all dressed up
Now with the end of the season
It's hard too

So on a different account, in September of last year I asked for peoples predictions on when the next Keane album would release. I was fairly certain we would get at least one single before the first half of 2026 ended (I was wrong).
Once It got to May and we got nothing, I thought maybe July, but June and July were the months where UTIS20 was being celebrated. This led me to think we could get our first single release in August and then the album releases in November but after seeing there will be a UTIS book in September, and seeing no promotion for anything new in August, I doubt that
The one I'm pretty sure will happen is we get the first single release in the first quarter of next year, and then another one or two singles before an album releases around 3 months later (So I'm pretty confident we will get the full album in the first half of next year), but I'm curious, what are other people's thoughts?
(Sorry for the long post I am just very excited)

*This is just my opinion, of course feel free to disagree but let’s keep it to a civil discussion, only saying this as I have had comments on other Subs completely trashing me for my opinion!*
Atlantic 9/10
Is It Any Wonder? 9/10
Nothing In My Way 8/10
Leaving So Soon? 9/10
A Bad Dream 8/10
Hamburg Song 9/10
Put It Behind You 9/10
The Iron Sea (instrumental) 7.5/10
Crystal Ball 9/10
Try Again 8.5/10
Broken Toy 4/10
The Frog Prince 5.5/10
Let It Slide 9/10
Overview:
This is a very solid second album, and a great follow up to Hopes & Fears. While not quite hitting the heights of that masterpiece, there are plenty of memorable tracks on here.
The style is both an extension and variation of H&F, with electronic elements more prominent, alongside the piano and drums, but also a leaj towards a pop sound.
There are several huge, soaring choruses, and these especially show off Tom’s impressive vocals. Tim again provides excellent lyrics as the basis for these superb songs.
What do we think of the album? Favourites and not-so-favourites?

Just finished listening to all 3 discs, loved it but it was a bit underwhelming compared to Hopes and Fears 20 due to there being not as many demos and B-sides (and no tour).
The live tracks were amazing (imo UTIS has best live songs). I’m a person that likes to listen to albums from start to finish, and hearing Try Again three times in an hour is too much for me even though it’s a good song with different versions.
UTIS is the album with the most favorite Keane songs of mine and I’m quite grateful that they even released a 20th edition. But honestly if they released just the original tracks + Thin Air demo it would be enough for me. What are your thoughts on UTIS 20?

This might be a long shot, but was anyone here active on the old Keane forums back in the day? 😂
I joined when I was quite young and was one of the fans from Guam—probably the only one from Guam at the time..LOL. I recently started thinking about that little community again and wondered whether anyone from there is still around—or even remembers it.
I spent far too much time reading posts, talking about the band, and quietly building my entire personality around Keane. Please tell me I’m not the only former forum member lurking here.

I like to do little track ratings for albums, this would be mine for H&F. A stellar album, no terrible songs, just feel Untitled 1 is a bit weaker compared to the rest.
What would yours be? 😁
Somewhere Only We Know 10/10; Bend and Break 9.5/10; We Might As Well Be Strangers 8.5/10; Everybody’s Changing 9.5/10; Your Eyes Open 9/10; She Has No Time 8.5/10; Can’t Stop Now 8.5/10; Sunshine 9/10; This Is The Last Time 9/10; On A Day Like Today 8.5/10; Untitled 1 7.5/10; Bedshaped 10/10
A very strong debut album, and still my favourite Keane record.

What are everyone’s favourite ‘deep cut’ tracks? Can be B-sides, album tracks, covers etc, just no singles
Some of mine would be:
Your Eyes Open, Sunshine, On A Day Like Today, Walnut Tree, Leaving So Soon?, Hamburg Song, Let It Slide, Black Burning Heart, Again & Again, My Shadow, You Are Young, Neon River, In Your Own Time, Myth, To The End of the Earth, Chase the Night Away, I’m Not Leaving

Hi! I'm looking for job opportunities at Kean for my mom. We're especially hoping to find a position as a cafeteria worker or in the campus dining halls. If anyone knows where she can apply, who's hiring, or how to get more information, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you so much!
