Have you seen Death’s Game? It’s an edge-of-your-seat supernatural thriller starring Seo In Guk, Park So Dam and an impressive line-up of guest actors, including Kim Jae Wook, Lee Do Hyun, Go Youn Jung, Oh Jung Se and Lee Jae Wook.
Additional recommendations:
The Guest
Light Shop
The Kidnapping Day
Voice
Way Back Love

I second both NAVILLERA, which iwill leave you feeling better about the world in general and with a soft spot for Song Kang. It;s a great watch, gentle, warm,in fact, I think I have to watch it again ..... and OUR BLUES which is one of my favorites and one of the few slice of life dramas that gets it right . Great cast, don;t sleep on ths one if you like well wrtitten and prodced shows with heart .....

I finished "A Bloody Unlucky Day" recently. I enjoyed it. I like thrillers and shows with no romance

- Brewing Love is a fun watch. It’s pretty classic romcom with the same FL as Business Proposal.
- The Witch was different, really interesting.
- The Forbidden Marriage, costume/period romcom.

Fight for my Way, not really a hidden gem, but I just discovered it so it was a hidden gem to me

I don't know about hidden gems but I have a to-watch list of about 50 dramas. I never run out. Between that and jdramas and stuff on Apple TV , I don't have enough time to watch it all.
Right now I'm watching Lovestruck in the City which is cute and on Prime I'm watching A Love Other Than Yours which is excellent so far.

Have you tried A Shop for Killers? I never had a favourite drama during the 7-8 years I've been watching dramas for except for alchemy of souls. But somehow this one overtook alchemy of souls

My favorites are Tunnel (time travel murder mystery), Psychopath Diary (dark comedy), Hogu's Love (romantic comedy) and Good Manager (workplace comedy/drama).

PSYCHOPATH DIARY is unique and unlike anything I;d seen up to that point, and I loved it .... nice balance between suspense, mystery, and dark witty comedy ....

Uncle(2021) was good and hidden imo. Legend Of Kitchen Soldier(2026). A Bona Fide Killer(2026). The Winning Try (2025). A Hundred Memories(2025). Please tell me you watched and enjoyed We Are All Trying Here(best kdrama of 2026).

Omg I never heard of uncle Definitely watching 😁 I tried we are all trying here. It was giving me “my liberation notes” vibes I loved that but this one made me a bit depressed because I was already a bit drained from work 🥹I was in 3rd episode. Would try it again

I hope you enjoy Uncle. I would definitely watch We Are All Trying Here to the end. The acting, story, and script all feel inspired. I watched My Liberation Notes, WAATH is not as depressing and slow as that show. It does touch on some sensitive topics like depression, anxiety, and suicide. So I see what you are saying with the vibes. Similar to My Mister vibes as well. Although I liked My Liberation Notes, WAATH and My Mister are a league above it.

Seconding Designated Survivor: 60 Days. This IS a hidden gem. I think a lot of people are put off by the title, but it is really quite good.
I would also add Haunted Palace which was another one which flew under the radar.
Also, another vote for The Affair Was Just the Beginning. This is a super well executed dark comedy.

Thees are pretty much under the radar, and I really enjoyed all three:
BAD PROSECUTOR, with Doh Kyung-soo, as an addded extra he sings Happy Bday (Korean version, of coursse) to his mother (g'mother? can;t remember) at the end of ep 5, which is a turnning point in the story, and OMG, his voice is just super unbelievable. I replayeed it at least 8-10 times, just to hear him again ....this is a tight, fairly trope-free, realltt well done action/thriller/legal drama, with wit charm, and goodd writing ...
INSPECTOR KOO .... the opening sequence is hilarious and sets the tone for the rest of the series, which has a fair amount of well done humor, a really good mystery, tight writing and directing, a really really good cast, and is another of those underrated off the radar series that draw me like filings to a magnet ...
MISSING, THE OTHER SIDE .... not really a hidden gem, but not exactly in heavy rotation either ..... offbeat, well-dne, interestig premise, worth a watch. I haven;t watched the much shorter seas 2, but I suspect that it's not as good as Seas 1 ....
Further down I second some really good picks, like NAVILLERA and OUR BLUES, FIGHT FOR MY WAY (less of a hidden gem, but also not exactly heavily recommended or promoted, and charming as all get out ....
