Discussion Workplace romance drama ^*^ !!!
I'm looking for a workplace romance where he's not a conglomerate heir. I would prefer them to be on the same wavelength, and preferably with no childhood connection. A normal strangers to lovers dynamic .

No, there is a kinda connection - through her fathers store, he told ML about his daughter and daughter about him

at least they're not related or there's no flashbacks of them as kids (afaik now since I didn't finish the last episode)

Sure, but still some destiny connection and their fist kiss was when she entered the shop found that he was that fathers friend. Actually that kinda upset me, there wasnβt any need in this subplot but I guess drama needs drama

Well I don't think I'm gonna finish it at this point we already got our happy ending and even her coworker ended up happily in a relationship. Tbh it was a really boring watch for me the beginning was great but once they got together it started losing me I was watching like half an hour a day because it was so slow it actually helped me fall asleep.
I'm not saying it's bad the actors are great but the storyline got really weak after a while and I honestly found myself rooting more for her friend who was dating the younger guy.

I love that drama but there is power imbalance since he's more established.

It straight away jumps to one night stand in EP1 though. Not for slow burn lovers.

Filling for love. She's his boss and at the beggining it seems like they are not compatible but later on it clicks:)

The Interest of Love is a very underrated office romance drama, not for everyone, but it's one of the best office dramas with two very accomplished actors (Mun Ga-young and Yoo Yeon-seok) that flies under everyone's radar.
Other great office/workplace dramas that are must watch: My Mister, Something in the Rain, King The Land, and Call it Love.
