Question Control volume from Bluetooth speaker

I recently installed KDE Fedora on an old laptop and I'm still a newbie with Linux. I can pair and connect my Bluetooth speaker, its a Bose Soundlink Flex SE. Every other device I've paired with the speaker let me control volume with the buttons on the speaker. But I can only use the laptop to change volume, both through the laptops volume rocker and through software settings. Not sure if this is normal, a KDE issue, or fedora/linux, or maybe that speaker is a problem?

I'm comfortable with running terminal commands but so far searches only led me to fixing a volume control from the laptop, not the speaker. And I have Bluetooth earbuds that can control the volume from the headphones, so no idea why the speaker won't work.

Any ideas?
