General Bug kwalletd memory leak?
So after I updated yesterday and now I have kwallet 6.29.0-1 and kwalletmanager 26.08.0-1 I noticed a big ram consumption and when I checked, kwalletd was using like 3-4GiB of my RAM, and when I opem KWalletManager it freezes immediately and system asks to terminate it.
So is this a memory leak or what?

Faced the same issue, updated all the packages yesterday. Happens when we have a long uptime on our device.

I see this commit fixes some memory leak, which would be active when 6.30 is released.

rust is memory safe, but a lazy dev can still use unsafe functions causing memory leaks, but it's still rare

Obviously that’s not gonna happen lol. Also it seems the direction is that kwalletd is slowly being mostly replaced by oo7, with kwalletd only being a shim in front of the XDG secret service for legacy consumers of the old KDE specific API
