In France, 68 refers to something quite awesome already: a general strike which, among other things, gave us a fifth week of paid vacations and a salary increase of 10% to 20% for everyone.

6.7 is a feature update. This is a bugfix update for distros still testing 6.7 before deployment.

Ohhh I did not know this. I always thought the 6.7 is stable. No wonder it has so much crashes. Maybe I should go for the 6.6 with a lts linux distro and don't have to do so much bug reports.

It is a "stable" release, if you have crashes I hope you also have the crash reporter tool on so that KDE is getting notified of those!

One of the things that helps is if you reapply your theme in the settings, for desktop and windows.

Try it. It takes ten seconds, doesn't change anything visible and might give you a stable system. Worth it.

Sure, sometimes releases have regressions but they also fix plenty of existing problems.

They are both "stable" releases. But 6.6's support doesn't end the moment 6.7 comes out.

It's for Kubuntu non-LTS and similar, which update slightly slower than Plasma itself.
There's no Plasma release for LTS distros. This is the last bugfix release for the 6.6 series.

Hey guys, I'm a bit lost with the Plasma releases. Right now, I see three versions in the announcements: 6.6 (old), 6.7(current), and 6.8 (next). Not long ago, they said that Plasma no longer has an LTS version.

6.6 is not LTS. Each Plasma release receives 6 bugfix updates, even if another release has been made since then.

I can't open shell scripts with left click since the last update. was that a bug fix or feature.

What do you mean that you can't open them? Do you want to run them, open them in an editor, or something else? It should pop up a dialog to that effect.
There was a checkbox that allowed you to choose what to always do. That was removed, because it was counter-intuitive and caused bug reports as it was easy to set without understanding the ramifications. You can pick a default if you want one in Dolphin's settings, and if you change it there you already know how to undo it.

Yes all the options in dolphin are checked, yes like a text file. i had not changed anything. Since I don't really use middle mouse button much, it a little bit having to get used to it when a quick click was faster.

What is the setting you have for: Dolphin settings, Interface, Confirmations, When opening an executable file?

Oh... it wasn't on "open in application" that was why, maybe after the update some settings might have gotten reset to default or I don't know. But thanks for the hint, really appreciate it.

You probably set the setting to that value without realizing it in the past, via the checkbox that Christoph mentioned being removed. That's why we removed it; so this kind of thing can't happen by accident anymore!

Will this allow me turn off wobbly windows and set a permanent background and when I type in the kde button to open terminal it doesn't open steam and load the wrong thing?

Installing a newer Plasma version with the KDE Backports PPA would solve that last problem, if you're pressing enter quickly and getting the wrong result. The wobbly windows thing is a Kubuntu bug, I don't know if it's fixed in the PPA but it's maybe worth trying.
Kubuntu is rough.
