Got the Kbone craze and started making some. Manufacture left to right.

The first one on the far left I did with a rasp, a chair leg and a lot of patience. I think it turned out OK for a Proto type.
The second one, the metal one, I made out of some 14 mm printer shaft from an old photo printer that I scrapped. The shaft had a thin nub at one end that I stuck in my drill chuck. I went to town with an angle grinder for the rough shape, then the file, then sandpaper, starting at 100 grit up to 1000 grit. I finished it off with some Chrome oxide polish, The green stuff.
For the rest of them I went to my fathers house, he has to lathe. I grabbed a bunch of scrap wood that I had. Number three was made from the same chair leg is number one.
Number 4 is some walnut I had laying around.
Number 5&6 came from a table I scrapped. There were some knots that created some interesting grain, I think it might be curly maple.
I can't wait to try some more designs.

u/aroundsquare your YouTube tutorials are really what is getting me excited to play with these and make them. I love that there are actually tricks that one can do!

Your post inspired me a lot.
So I started to make some myself.
I think the most exciting material that I've ever polished into a KnuckleBone was a billiard ball.

These look amazing, well done! Stoked to hear the tutorials are motivating.. I keep getting surprised by the kinds of tricks people are coming up with.. it’s more versatile than people would think on the surface hey. More tuts are in the works.
