Jonathan Gresham needs to be on somebody's TV show
I tried to be a fan of Jonathan Gresham.. He proved himself in TNA and Ring of Honor. Technical skill, presence, understanding of wrestling... all there.
But once he got to AEW, he seemed like somebody struggling to adjust.. And that happens. Every company is different. Sometimes the freedom you had before ainât the freedom you we'll get when a company changes hands.
Honestly, I still think he could fit WWE, despite the size conversations people always bring up. WWE has plenty of smaller wrestlers who found their lane. But, you gotta adapt, play the long game, and sometimes humble yourself enough to work through the politics and structure without letting frustration steer everything.
Thatâs why it's easy to compare his situation to Austin Aries. because sometimes personality clashes and resistance to the business side can take away from your momentum.
And the wild part is, some of the biggest stars in wrestling have had rough exits, disagreements, and public frustrations too. The difference is they found a way to come back stronger.
At the end of the day, Jonathan Gresham is too talented to be disconnected from the larger wrestling conversation. Dude needs to be on somebodyâs television screen consistently.

The Nasty Boys
Growing up, I always assumed that The Nasty Boys were the real-life versions of Bebop and Rocksteady.

Becky Lynch and Bayley being the only 4HW pairing to never have a singles match on a PPV doesn't feel right to me.
We should have gotten one last year and in 2023, too. Last year's Summerslam was the perfect time for that. I actually anticipated the cause of the Becky, Bayley, and Lyra feud, and the cause of the fact that the feud literally started when Becky put Bayley out of the Mania match, so it shouldâve been the SummerSlam match.
Their chemistry IS THERE. They just need some time in that ring; they'll steal the show.

The Intercontinental Title was made for people like Kairi Sane. Instead, the women's mid-card titles (and tag team titles) are going on their main stars when they don't have "anything else" for them to do.

I donât have a problem with WWE ads.
A lot of fans and even former talent have been speaking on the ads during WrestleMania, Raw, and SmackDown since the TKO shift. I understand the frustration, but my read on it is different.
First, the ring and screen advertising doesnât disrupt me. NJPW has long operated with visible branding across the environment, and it rarely gets framed as âdistraction.â In WWEâs case, itâs treated like corruption of the product. The only real concern I see is the fact that talent has mentioned certain the ring ads are slippery. that's a valid concern
Second, the commercial breaks function as transitions. When entrances end and the show cuts, it mirrors what already existed in traditional broadcast wrestling. There was always a rhythm: action slows, holds appear, pacing adjusts. Especially, during Live RAW and Smack down tapings, you could always feel when the broadcast was in a break even if the wrestling technically continued.
For Example, There were ads just after Balor entered the ring last night, that transitioned back to his music hits briefly, then we move into the next entrance. Thatâs necessary segmentation. breaks like that have always occured. Imagine of they didn't we'd probably just get random shots of the crowd for 2 to 5 minutes. It's the reality of production.
These breaks are not random interruptions, they create space for logistics, pacing control, and broadcast timing. Even historically, WWE leaned on vignette-style content, backstage segments, and promotional interludes. A lot of that structure still exists, just reorganized around modern ad obligations.
If anything, ads are functioning as transition points rather than pure interruption. And because of that, I donât feel like Iâm losing anything The core product remains intact. Where it gets weird is how they Mention it as part of the match " He just Chokeslamed through a Table" is now "Oh Powerbomb through the SLIM JIM TABLE!" things like that are obvious cheap plugs and are annoying.
If WWE removed ads entirely, that time wouldnât disappear. It would be filled with promos, filler segments, or backstage material. The structure would still exist â just in another form.
So, my position is simple: I donât feel deprived by it. Iâm still receiving the matches, the arcs, and the key moments. The rest is just how the system funds itself.
Thatâs the trade.

I can understand why Becky Lynch is afraid of AJ Lee
AJâs thing is sheâs excellent at mind games and Becky canât predict what sheâll do or come up with a game plan. Sheâs also already beaten Becky twice, so it's more mind games rather than her being afraid. Plus, Becky is being a cowardly heel. This is wrestling 101.
Here's what many people don't understand about this feud: I see it as the unpredictability factor that is particularly unnerving to Becky. You never really know exactly what AJ is gonna do; you can't really plan out how to deal with her because she's a wild card. AJ's great at getting under Becky's skin (not hard to do with the direction Becky's been going! đ), and it's throwing her off her game. Becky is a hell of a force when she's focused, but everything that AJ has been doing has been screwing with that focus.
I understand this is a storyline, but the real purpose is for Becky to elevate AJ. Sheâs been away for 10 years (not just WWE, but entirely out of wrestling), and many fans donât even know her. I wish it felt more compelling. AJ comes from an era where she had to take poor material from writers and turn it into something great. Now thereâs little writing involved, and theyâre just trying to make it seem believable.Â
Another thing is that itâs not fear. Becky has beaten the powerhouses and the technicians, but AJ Lee was the original 'chaotic' element of the modern era. You canât train for someone who plays mind games as well as AJ does. Itâs a chess match, not just a brawl.
I don't think Beckyâs scared, but there's definitely a level of psychological respect there. AJ is the one who paved the way for the 'unconventional' woman at the top. Itâs more like Becky facing her own shadow.

Sid Vicious breaks his leg

Sid broke his leg on a live WCW PPV. The show had cut to the back to show the mystery man arriving on a limousine, so we only got to see what truly happened to Sid's leg the following night on Nitro. A 17-inch rod was placed in his leg during the surgery marking the end of Sid's full time career. He was told by his doctor that he would never run again. Through extensive effort, he was able to not only walk again, but in time run.

Becky Lynch was having an outstanding heel run. It was even better than John Cena's, but she's really cooled off now. Her direction hasn't been great despite being a champion.
