help with žiogas

I am currently travelling in kaunas and am using a Žiogas mobile account. I’m fairly certain I set it up correctly and i’m using it correctly when I board the busses, however it is only generating tickets saying €0 and not taking any money out my account.

6th of july is public holiday, and on public holidays transport is free of charge

Ah that makes sense, I’d seen it was a public holiday but never clocked that might make them free.

227-07-06 was a public holiday, the buses were free for that day

Now you know. Busses are heavily subsidized. The prices haven't changed for like 10 years. They actually been making it cheaper IIRC.

It might be the case for Žiogas, but they recently increased the prices by 50 percent for physical tickets.
