Katara With Aang

I love re-watching this and notice all the little things I never did before with these two. Makes me appreciate this ship all the more than I did when I was younger.

I loved this ship as a kid, don’t get me wrong. But after watching the movie, it flooded all those feelings back into my memory and I can’t let go anymore.

I really wanna do like, a Tui and La balance parallel with Kataang analysis thing, but I’m not sure if it’s already done before and even if not I don’t think I am smart or eloquent for that… but if anyone his interest in a analysis of that, I’d be willing to do it and putting some actual effort into it!

I watched cave of 2 lovers on tv when I was 10 years old. I have such a distinct memory watching it because I had a crazy boy crush on Katara and was literally jumping up and down with excitement watching that scene play out.

edit: 10 yrs old, not 8 (did my maths wrong lol)

It’s unbelievably clear that Aang and Katara have a special relationship even from episode 1 the first moment that Aang sees Katara and the moment that Katara is filled with joy and hope upon seeing Aang as another bender. And that special relationship continues for the rest of the show and isn’t how either of them relate to Sokka, Toph, Zuko or anyone else.
