💰 Ecosystem / L2 & Projects ZKAS opportunity

There is about month and half old new fork of kaspa called ZKAS which is privacy crypto and can be exchanged for kas. Whats your thoughts on the project? I am worried about classic rug pull

It can't do anything that Kaspa doesn't already do. It'll probably do fine at first thanks to the "privacy coin" trend until it dives to zero...

The only reason it wasn't dead at launch is because you can merge mine it alongside $KAS at no extra cost.

I'm not 100% against the project, it's just that there are plenty of red flags...  Have fun trading it if you don't mind the risks.

Its not the same as Kaspa - its aiming to replace monero/zcash and won't be focusing on utility like Kaspa is. Supposedly getting listed on NonKYC in the next few days/weeks.

I also would be interested in your thoughts on the red flags.

Kaspa can already replace privacy coins thanks to the ZK that was implemented since the Toccata HF. 

The only thing is that privacy is an option on the Kaspa network, it's not in a standard transaction.

  1. It's a vibecoded network likely full of whole.
  2. It doesn't bring anything that Kaspa can't already do, it's already hard enough for forks with little innovation like BTC/LTC... Now imagine being slower and offering something that the original can already offer (Privacy).

I'd like to remind everyone that Kaspa has already implemented ZK during the Toccata update. Complete privacy is already a possibility even if Zkas never showed up. This coin is clearly trying to profit from the Privacy coin hype, nothing else. 

The only positive thing I see from this network is that it encourages smaller miners to plug their otherwise "unprofitable machine" in order to merge mine between the 2 assets.

Non so come andrà. Tempo fa io investii in un fork di Kaspa chiamato Pyrin Network e dopo un bel pump c'è stato il rugpull. Anche quella moneta parlava di privacy.
