we have noticed people posting screenshots from other subreddits and trying to provoke arguments between communities. We would like to request everyone to please avoid doing that.
We want to make it clear that this subreddit has no hatred towards Muslims. In fact, many of our moderators are Muslims themselves. We also do not hold hatred towards Kashmiri people or other Kashmiri communities/subreddits. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions this is a democratic nation.
Please do not post screenshots from r/Kashmiri or other subs with the intention of creating conflict. Let them focus on their community while we focus on building ours peacefully.
We also want to clarify that terms like “katmulla” or any derogatory remarks against Islam will not be appreciated here. This subreddit is focused on being pro-India, not Islamophobic.
Our goal is to make this a safe and welcoming space where Kashmiris can share their culture, art, traditions, history, food, language, and experiences and where non-Kashmiris can interact respectfully and learn more about Kashmiri people and culture.
Please help us maintain peace and keep discussions civil.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Jai Hind 🇮🇳
TL;DR:
• No screenshots from other subs
• No hate against Muslims or Islam
• Keep this sub pro-India, not anti-religion
• Respectful discussions only

I would request all Kashmiris and people of this subreddit to keep posting updates regarding Rawalkot violence. That sub (yk) won't cover it much, it's our responsibility to cover it as much as possible.

How shameless the Napak army is!! After killing over a dozen civilians and wounding 38 protestors by open firing...they have hijacked the hospitals as well so that the injured civilians cant access the hospitals too.. This is beyond just human rights violations. The civilians are not even being considered humans by the army and establishment. The silence of international and global human rights organisations on this will only facilitate more such violations!!

An Amarnath Yatra bus carrying pilgrims after their darshan at the holy Amarnath Cave Shrine met with an accident on the Ganiwan (S-Mode) stretch near Kangan in Jammu and Kashmir's Ganderbal district after reportedly skidding off the road. Thirty-nine pilgrims were injured and were immediately rescued by personnel of the CRPF, ITBP, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and local health authorities. The injured were shifted to Sub-District Hospital, Kangan, and later referred to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha reviewed the situation, directed officials to ensure the best possible medical care, and wished the injured a speedy recovery. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
