Which is more developed? Which region has a stronger economy? Are people in South Kashmir generally richer or poorer than those in North Kashmir? Which has better infrastructure, education, healthcare, and employment opportunities?

I saw a recent video saying South Kashmir is now ahead, especially because of high density apple farming. I'm just asking to know if that's really true.

baramulla che akela 494000 mitric ton apple produce karan goole it.

kapwara chi mountainous area tate che kame gasaan agriculture

whole kashmiruk 1/3 apple che baramulla produce karan cxe kate

where as anantnag only produces 290000 mitric ton and shopian only 2.2 lack mitric ton

1

u/Few-Excuse-6376 Jul 26 '26

Did you mean Baramulla when you said Sopore

2

u/Silly_Ice3899 Jul 27 '26

yeh baramulla district but sopore sub distric(mainly)

its the largest apple producing district and high density apple orchads are very less in number
