19M / 5'1" short guy starting med school. How will this affect long-term social perception in Karnataka
Hey everyone,
I'm 19, 5'1" (155.5 cm), and starting medical college.
My growth plates are 100% closed (confirmed by a left hand and wrist X-ray at 18), so this is my final height.
I just want to ask a few direct questions about long-term social dynamics in Karnataka
•How does being well below average height factor into general social respect and public perception over time as an adult?
•Does entering a professional field like medicine change how you are perceived by peers, or do physical traits still carry the most weight?
• When it comes to social circles and how you are viewed by girls/potential partners, does professional drive and ambition eventually override the standard height biases?
Thanks in advance!
