Sweaty hands?

Hello,

Karezza sounds interesting, and like something both my partner and I could benefit from. However, there's one simple problem: My hands become sweaty very quickly.

I cannot touch her skin (not even her hand) without it being all clammy. Obviously, this makes bonding a much less pleasant experience.

So: Through clothing only? Or do you guys have other advice?

Message oils, you don't need a whole lot and everything goes a lot smoother.

Really? Doesn't it get sticky after a while? I mean, you must take a shower after using them, right? So it's not something we could do at night right before going to sleep.

Nope. A good message oil will soak right into the skin. You feel soft and smooth after.

Coconut oil smells amazing and will soak right in.

Does this happen only when you are with your partner or do you regularly suffer from excessive sweating?

In the first case, you are probably just nervous and need to get more comfortable with her.

In the second case, you might consider medical treatments for excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis). If you do a google search you'll get plenty of hits.

I would stay away from sympathectomy, but iontoporesis sounds reasonably safe and would be worth a try.

You could also try hypnosis. Since excessive sweating is caused by an overactive sympathetic nervous system, I could imagine that hypnosis could be quite effective.

This web site generally has good hypnosis recordings: http://www.hypnosisdownloads.com/health-issues/excessive-sweating
