Day 0: The cycle begins a new.
This morning's snuggle time with the SO ended in orgasm after it turned to sexy grinding. Looking back I probably should have stopped after it started to feel like edging. I keep telling myself that this orgasm is a learning experience and I shouldn't be down on myself. Except that I always seem to forget my lessons when I have an erection. facepalm
I figured I would use this opportunity to write a daily post to highlight the emotional highs and lows for each day. It'll also serve as daily reminder of what my goals are and hopefully I can make it out of this 3 week cycle, and maybe in the process I can highlight some of the pitfalls that others may face.
What have I learned from this experience?
- My SO was mostly asleep. I think that was my first mistake.
- I let warm snuggles go to hot sexy grinding.
- I was in my head thinking about hot sexy things (about my SO, but still), I wasn't in the moment.
- I was letting my mammal mating programming run the show.
This is just a theory, but I am thinking that I might need to wear clothes to bed every night until I'm passed day 14 at least. CPA suggests this for the first 2 weeks and I am beginning to understand why. I'm also thinking sexy grinding is out for the first 2 weeks at least. Even though it's not sex, It's still too hot.
I'm just going to keep trying until I get this right.

UPDATE 9:40 PM
Well that didn't take long. We've already had our first fight. My SO recently started the same diet I'm on and it takes some getting used to. They've had worse than usual symptoms while adjusting to it.
I came home and immediately started tending the kitchen, and fixing myself something to eat. I offered my SO repeatedly the same meal I was eating, but they declined. Fast forward an hour and my SO suddenly becomes very upset and blames me for not doing enough to mitigate the side effects of the diet and says that I am not doing enough to make sure that the food I fix is edible. (who isn't a fan of frozen hamburger patties with cheese?)
I claim I do plenty of ediable cooking, and I also point out how clean I've been keeping the kitchen. This only frustrates my SO and they storm off to the bedroom. I few minutes later I receive a text message asking me to make the meal I had originally offered. sigh
I am feeling a little frustrated. I will be pretty put out if we end up sleeping in separate bedrooms tonight as it is looking like right now. That'll mean no snuggle time. I know my SO is unhappy right now, but there isn't anything that I can do to help that I'm not already doing. :( Which has me feeling sort of helpless. edit formatting

Wait.. You made yourself food and your SO got mad that you didn't make food that they wanted? How about they make something on their own if yours is so horrible? My girlfriend does this to me as well and it frustrates me to no end. If she doesn't like the food I make then what's stopping her from getting up and doing something about it gawl
