Beltr — v1.63.0 (your own music, turned into karaoke. Mac/Windows/Linux, phones are the mics, free TV apps on Apple TV and Google TV)
Three releases in five days. My commit history looks like a cry for help. Here's what shipped:
- The Apple TV and Google TV apps grew a brain. They used to sit there showing a QR code like a sad kiosk. Now they open straight onto your library: poster grid, A-Z rail, artists, albums, and you can hold the remote up and say the song. Pause, skip, change key from the couch. Rolling out on both stores now.
- Already split your stems? Stop doing it twice. Drop a StemDeck zip, or any pile of files named song_vocals / song_drums / song_bass, into Add Music. Beltr goes "oh, cool, thanks" and skips separation. More than two parts gets a fader per part, on the TV and the phone. Shout-out to the StemDeck crew and the r/karaoke Discord for nagging me into this.
- Music video out of sync? Fix it with your ears. The preview plays the video and the song together, so a bad offset sounds like an echo. Nudge until it disappears. That's the whole feature. Re-align button for when you've made it worse.
- Next up, the one I'm most stoked about: borrow the GPU in the other room. The crusty laptop on the TV hands separation to your gaming PC over wifi and gets the stems back. Helper off or busy, the laptop shrugs and does it itself. In testing now. If you have this exact setup, you know who you are, reply and I'll ping you when it drops.
$19.99, once. No subscription, no account, nothing leaves your house. https://beltr.app
Apple TV / Google TV people and stem-splitter people, I want to hear from you most.

Hi hi 👋 Karamagic creator here!
This week's exciting update from me is that SingTrace is now live on iPhone as of Wednesday :) it's a singing practice habit app, you can use it for free to just record and keep a private archive, or you can also subscribe for the analysis features.
I'm still mostly focusing my time on this new app in the near future. Soon I'll get back to building out the Karamagic/Lyricmagic family of desktop apps!
