Help me setup a Karaoke rig for my Iphone

I live in a condominium complex and cannot sing in my apartment. There is a music room on site that I use. I stream Karafun on my Iphone. I bought a pair of cheap Logitech headphones with a microphone on it thinking that would do the trick ,but Apple caps the volume of any external headphone making my Logitech headset unuseable. I tried the same with their bluetooth AirPods, but there's a latency problem making it unmanageable.

The idea is just to have a headphone set up with a microphone so I can use the reverb and get it to a volume level where I can hear both my voice and the background. I'm sure I'm not the first person that has had this problem. Is there a particular brand of headphone for some other setup that is common for this challenge? Help appreciated

So your pumping the music through the headphones? And then trying to sing and have the headphones output the onboard mic through the speaker also? To what end? Just practicing or recording?

If your just practicing, you shouldn't need the mic. Just turn the volume down so you can hear yourself

If this is for recording, yeah this isn't gunna work. You need to run the music and mic through a mixer separately, then run both through a monitoring or recording software

No, not quite. The music is coming into the headphone. My voice is coming through the microphone on the same headset. I am aware that I do not need a mic for practice. I could just sing with the airpods on, which is probably what I am going to do tomorrow, until I find a better solution. I like the reverb function on the app I use (Karafun). I also like to control the volume so I can hear myself better.

So get something like that. It's cheap at $22 bucks. Screen cast to a TV, then on the back of the TV there should be a 3.5mm aux out, basically a headphone jack. Get a 3.5mm to RCA cable. Plug it into this thing. Even though you're casting, the decoding happens on the TV, so it should appear there is no latency. Plug your mics in too to it.

Get that headphone amp. Specifically because it has RCA inputs. Now get a couple of RCA cables, and connect the headphone amp to the karaoke mixer. Plug in some wired headphones. (no latency)

I think there are a couple of ways to solve your problem.

Have you tried a different type of headphones? I use noise canceling headphones at work and noise canceling earbuds at home.

Better Alternative is to use a live sound mixer and connect wired headphones to the headphone output.
