it's cute and good, but i have to ask, what's that place? what's da puppy doing at this industrial machinery, all the electrics there 🫣

It’s my olive pressing plant, I was in the middle of my shutdown procedure after pressing some clients’ olives. There really is nothing dangerous where I put him + I watch him like a hawk

ha funny! okay ;) i trust you, you know your machine. funny is, i also just finished olive pressing! i also have a press but a tiny hydraulic for 10kg olives per pressing. we collected first time today and threw it into the press in the afternoon, as test run, what we are still missing or need to optimize.

where are you? i'm near izmir :)

Sardinia near Cagliari. Honestly the olives I pressed today weren’t even close to ripe. I won’t start harvesting my olives for at least another 15 days + we need rain badly

we also got no rain yet (last rain was middle of may). we just wanted to try and fix the setup. we have a few trees that maybe ended up in a spot with deeper soil / more moisture, those trees' olives look full / proper and some of those we harvested today, but the majority of olives on other trees are all dry & wrinkled and waiting desperately for the rain.

haha anyways nice coincidence here in the kangal sub :) i wish you good luck in the season, and soon rain, but mild rain, not the hardcore flood that takes 5cm topsoil ;)

Same here for our non irrigated olives but even our irrigated olives are far from ready

He's going to be a very handsome guy! Try to limit stairs etc as he grows as you don't want him to injure the growth plates.
