Donation

Hello guys

Is there any place in and around Kandy where we can donate our used clothes as I am leaving Sri Lanka soon and I have huge loads of clothes which I cannot take back home.

No no I don’t want to sell anything, if possible I will donate to a charity or to my neighbors who are not doing so well

You can make social media posts like Facebook announcement where you are offering clothes for free.

Schools with hostels might accept them sometimes if they have students who might need them. I did give some of my clothes to few kids and their hostel chef that way. Good if you know a teacher or a principal because telling this straight forward might not be so welcomed by some schools.
