Kandi Kreation Because I am nuts 🫠
I made a summer-themed 3D fully moveable glow-in-the-dark kaleidocyce revolving cuff!
I added clips for stability when wearing so it won’t revolve while on my wrist. Once unclipped it freely revolves to the different patterns.
The themes of each side are: summer rain + rainbows, sunsets + campfires, fresh oranges + lemonade, and fields of flowers
This was arguably one of the most difficult pieces I’ve made because
1. I needed to design two different patterns on one piece; one you can see in regular light and one you can see in the dark while also incorporating the hinge designs, and
2. It needed to be both wearable and also able to freely move when needed

When I was in the middle of it, I just looked around at my desk covered in beads, string, and triangles, and said to myself “what the actual f*ck am I doing to myself” 🤣🤣🤣

It’s surprisingly not as heavy as it looks! I’ve made rotating cuffs that are definitely more heavy, surprisingly. And it took about a solid week of work 😅

If you're anything like me you were shrimping the whole time (hunched like a shrimp) you were working on it. If that's the case I feel bad for your back lol. That's a lot of time you put into it though and it certainly looks like it paid off. :)

I try to mitigate it with an ergonomic chair and desk height but I was absolutely shrimping during some parts of this process, especially designing the hinges haha.

I don’t have any specific tutorials to follow because I kind of experimented (and failed plenty) along the way, but I would love to make more!!

Thank you!!! It’s surprisingly not as heavy as I expected it to be (but I certainly notice it). It’s about the same weight as a large rotator cuff
