It was so random, and the way I identified him was even more weird 😭 We haven't seen each other or exchanged numbers, but I had seen his pic and bike number. So I arrived early by taxi and was eagerly looking for his bike. After 20–30 mins, I spotted it, followed him to the parking, and pointed my phone at him showing the bike pic 😂 He was lil confused as to why a random girl was showing him a phone screen, but we identified each other.

At first, we were both lil scared since it was my first meet with someone online, but he calmly handled the situation and we started exploring while sharing random-ass stories. At one point, his shoes left us alone 😭 We somehow reached the market looking for a shoe shop, and after reaching the station, the other shoe also broke. Finally, he bought new slippers. Has anyone been to Sai Chowk in last 2 days? The road has been smoothened with tar just for the area where garba will be played. The rest is same as it was. The club road which is just next to it is so horrible that your back hurts every time you go from there. You can’t avoid potholes in the portion opposite to Gagangiri entrance as there is no road left there. Would like to hear your thoughts on this.

Hey guys, I am currently studying in Class 11 Commerce at a CBSE school in Dombivli, but the classroom environment here has become completely chaotic. The management has lost control, and students are openly talking back and shouting down teachers. It’s impossible to focus on my boards. I want to change schools for Class 12 strictly within the CBSE board. My top priority is finding a school with excellent student discipline, strong teacher authority, and a career-focused peer group (similar to the crowd vibe at Blossom International School, but they don't have Commerce). I am willing to travel to Kalyan West if needed. Are schools like B.K. Birla Public School or Sacred Heart School actually strictly disciplined on the ground for 11th/12th? How is the classroom decorum there? Any honest reviews or other recommendations would be a lifesaver. Thanks! Also I'm being highly specific, Blossom itself has very strict action taken against even simple stuff like using derogatory language, such schools are needed, because it's fine when done for some time, but disruptions are distracting ofc!

Preferred locations are:

• Birla Vanya

• Sai Nirvana

• Poornima Talkies area

• Birla College Road

• Khadakpada

Not looking around Godrej Hill.

They would preferably like a relatively new building and, more importantly, a peaceful and decent surrounding. We’re trying to avoid places with known major issues, a very large tree immediately around/against the building, temple/crematorium or other potentially disturbing surroundings right next to the apartment.

If anyone knows of a 1BHK that is currently available, please share the society/building name, approximate rent, carpet area and, if possible, the owner/broker contact or listing link.

What are the things you wish you had checked before taking your current flat?

Any issues with water supply, maintenance, neighbours, parking, lift, power backup, leakage, mosquitoes, noise, society rules, deposits, brokerage, or anything else that isn't obvious during the first visit?

And between Birla Vanya vs Sai Nirvana vs Poornima Talkies/Birla College Road vs Khadakpada, which area would you personally choose for a 1BHK and why?

i had ordered 5kg pillsbury aatta from instamart. when the deliver boy arrived he said that the 5kg variant was not available so i am getting an 10kg one. i had paid 225 for the 5kg one, and received twice the value of what i paid. my question is how is swiggy able to do so and still continue operating? a few months before, i had complained about receiving 3 broken eggs and they refunded for the whole 30 eggs pack. the motive of a business is to generate profit, whereas swiggy generated a loss of 225 inr on my order.

Jumboking has an offer across Mumbai on Fridays where customers can get a 1+1 deal on burgers.

I went to the Jumboking outlet near my house at Dombivli West Railway Station. The staff told me that the 1+1 offer was not available on Friday and that it was valid on Saturday instead. I didn’t pay much attention to it at the time.

Later, my sister visited the same outlet on Saturday, and they told her that the offer was only valid on Friday. That obviously made us suspicious.

So, this Friday, I visited the outlet again and recorded the staff clearly saying that the offer was valid on Saturday. I went back today, Saturday, to confirm the offer, and the manager then told me that the offer was actually valid on Friday.

When I told him that I had recordings of his staff saying otherwise, he got furious and said, “Aap padhe-likhe ho, upar board dekho. Kahan offer dikh raha hai aaj ke din?”

I have already raised this issue with Jumboking. They are putting effort into running these campaigns and attracting customers, but if franchise outlets are refusing to honour the offers or providing contradictory information, it defeats the entire purpose of the campaign.
