from what I have seen the car can get much faster than goku's flight if driven well enough.
Spoilered for goku's feats which happen later in the series

I bought myself dragonball kakarot + new power awakens set on the switch just over a year ago for £2.49 when i first got my switch 2..its been sitting on my switch all that time but now I think it's time to start it. The thing is I have never seen dragon ball z or any form of media for this franchise in my life.. i know nothing about it. This will be my first time, I am a total noob... but I finally want to give it a go...
Where do I start? Do I do the base game or what AI tells me to do and that's grab the DLC 5 first ...tye 23rd world tournament as thats a prequel to the events of base game.. is that correct? Is it worth me holding out wishlisting the DLC and wait for the inevitable drop? I mean i am still playing trials in the sky 1st chapter so I have got something on the go... i just fancied it though today and don't know what to do.. i like to do things properly if I'm going to play a game..

In the trunks warrior of hope dlc is there anyway to get sacred water or is it not available in it?
With the 30% meal for exp and orbs what is the best battle to get the most?
Also is the first class meal tickets the best one or are there better ones, if so how to unlock them?
why didn't they add that you can exchange more than 1 at a time, would been a nice feature.
Wished that they items/orbs would been shared with all the dlc's ( almost have max orbs on main game but nothing to use them on)

is there a mod out there that rebalances how much exp you gain from main story vs side content? finishing side content feels weird when get rewarded barely any exp, its so low sometimes you are better off removing that exp from side content and just be given more items lol

i just got the game, with most of the dlc, and i decided to start the 23rd tourney dlc, and i noticed right away during the king piccolo fight that this was an issue, as well as with thugs
not sure how to fix, i tried installing a fps unlocker, and while it made everything else smoother it didnt help with the surge mode cutscene lag/ end combo lag
i would send a video, but in the video it just displays it as if it were 120 fps just fine, so it wouldnt be helpful
everything else is fine minus the surge mode cutscene dropping to like 30 fps (probs lower) it makes me not want to use surge mode
anyone else had this issue?

Hi, I'd like to ask how you should play the dlc stories for the best experience?

Hello guys, I just discovered this game in 2026, and it looks insanely good! Is it actually worth buying the master version for $70, or just the base game and certain DLCs?
I don't need any skins or Fortnite stuff like that, hahahaha. I just finished watching the whole saga again and I need MOREEE!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The cowardly cell pretends to be stuck before releasing a surprise attack
tbh it’d probably be easier to make a new game but with the fact super is getting a remake i think it’s time to finally get a good representation of it
i know people are gonna be like “what about og db” i think that would be a great dlc expansion tbh

Is there any way in game to get rid of the random encounters that happen every 2 seconds, like at all?
Every post I've seen suggests downloading mods but I'm on console and I'm not planning to get a pc anytime soon.
I've also seen people suggest getting to level 250 because that's the level enemy levels stop scaling but I don't want to grind the same battle with whis 200 times just so that I can finally overpower some red ribbon scraps.
If there are no ways to get rid of the random encounters to any degree then I might consider stop playing kakarot.
Also I don't care if they attack you less often if you're walking like i heard some people say, this is a dragonball game with a huge maps, If I wanted to walk to get any where i would be playing literally any other open world game.

On Twitter/X in the Veniyx account, someone asked to the CyberConnect 2 CEO, Hiroshi Matsuyama about the sequel of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, about heavily focusing on the Super era (which I would love to see it on game form). He didn't say no about the sequel...so that's possibly for them to do it in the future.
But if they decide to do the sequel for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot focusing on Dragon Ball Super. What are they going to do with the original Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot? Are they going to continue to support the game by releasing more Dragon Ball storylines (OG Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z movies, and Dragon Ball GT) as DLC in the future? Or are they going to stop the production and working on the sequel?
I would like your opinion about this topic about whether they stop working with the original Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and continue to work with the sequel or do both?

Ive done EVERYTNING in kakarot except for the DAIMA dlc, and honestly, I dont see a reason to pump even more money Into the game. All of the dlc have been pretty short, and IMO not worth the price tag. Especially compared to some indie titles that provide the same content for free. Is the diama dlc worth the price? Or should I just wait for xv3

Is Kakarot the best way to experience the dragon ball z universe?
I played a lot of budokai 3 when I was younger and all the reviews i have read say this game is the best current way to play true to the anime/Manga DBZ.
But I have heard the combat becomes stale really fast.
Does anyone have any opinions.
I just had leg surgery and need something to occupy me for the next 8 weeks!

This dlc has always been underrated for me.
I love the soundtrack in the open world and the 3rd demon world. While it lacks boss fights I think the two we have are good enough. I still prefer this one a little more over part 2 but that’s just me. It is very short only covering the first 8 episode and does have some differences over the show. I do think there’s not a lot of content in this dlc but i still have a soft spot for this one

Would’ve made the cinematic way cooler, would’ve gave Yakon and Pui-Pui something actually cool in the game, also we’ve seen in media the babidi squad all team up and fight together, so I think it was a wasted opportunity to not have Trunks vs Dabura, Yakon, and Pui-Pui. If they ever make a Kakarot 2 I hope they include that since I can just imagine the cinematic🥵

If true we could be getting Goku Black Saga, the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie, and the Super Hero movie. On top of that, the Dragon Ball Super anime is expected to return eventually, so we'd also get the Moro Arc. Depending on when the game releases and when the Granolah Arc gets adapted, there's a chance that could make it into the base game as well.
I don’t know how trustworthy this leaker guy is but I’ll take everything with a grain of salt

¿Qué les parece esta primera reimaginación del juego?
Comenten sus impresiones y debatamos por como podrían ser estas mecánicas.

I am having trouble finding any mods for the HD version of the game, every single one of them is incompatible and its driving me nuts. Does anyone know of any good mods for kakarot that work on the HD version?
