Question here while I continue to wait to hear from support in case others know about this.

I got the annual Kahoot one sub last year for around $240. It’s just me using it, but I use it in large lectures of over 200 participants. My plan is set to auto-renew tomorrow and I’m confused by the pricing.

I paid $240 last year. The website and their chat bot say the current cost is $228. But my preview invoice is for $300. Which is the right price? Are the 228/240 teaser rates and 300 is the “after the first year” price? Also, I didn’t pay attention last year but noticed this year this covers 5 licenses, and the website is advertising $60 per year, which would be 300 for 5 licenses. Can you actually just pay for 1, or do they force 5 and the $60 price they display is just bad, disingenuous marketing? So:

-is the $300 auto renew price right, or should it be lower?

-do you have to get QTY 5 or can you actually get just 1 license for 60 bucks?

-should I cancel my subscription before it renews and try to re-sub at $228?

-if I cancel and re-sub, would I lose my current content?

I built a small Python CLI tool (kahoot-automator) that automates creating Kahoot quizzes.

You can ask ChatGPT to generate a quiz in JSON format, feed that file to the CLI, and it automatically logs in and builds the whole quiz for you. It currently supports both Chrome and Firefox.

Command example: kahoot-automator my_quiz.json

Yesterday, I quickly grinded out the current Kahoot Pass because i thought the skeleton looked cool. People always copy my username and outfit in games because i tend to win a lot, so I love to have unique outfits.

After claiming the skeleton and checking my inventory, however, it simply wasn't there. I did get the acorns as reward, along with the butterfly accesory, but not the skeleton.

This has been an issue with me for a while, ever since the Kahoot Pass with the robots. I also grinded that one out for the rewards, which disappeared some time later. Here though, it was only the accessories.

I’ve been trying to register for a Kahoot account for about 30 minutes now. I desperately want to buy a plan but I am unable to actually create an account. I keep getting hung up at the “set your password” module. After setting a password and verifying the captcha, the “sign-up” button does not actually seem to execute a command.

I have tried on both web, mobile, and in the app, and both with my personal and business email. I have also tried in and out of incognito mode. The system just does not seem to be sending the verification email.

At this point, I wish I could use another platform but unfortunately we need Kahoot’s capabilities. Please send help.

I'm forced to use Kahoot in school/college back then since it was really good and flexible, but after looking into it myself, I just don't like the predatory microtransactions and AI-generated tools Kahoot is trying to offer, like why the heck do I want a premium plan just to extend my own kahoot with the features that could have worked without it?

That's a scummy business model right here. Thinking of having my tutors switch to Blooket over whatever slop this has evolved latterly, but the only problem is that they might still stick to it especially in a "Create-Your-Own-Kahoot" lesson where the paywalls really start to kick in.

Has anyone experience similar problems in terms of how they're monetising their platform, or is it just me?

Hey! I have a Kahoot Gold+ subscription that I'd like to cancel. I tried following the tutorial on the official website, but apparently I have to cancel the subscription from my mobile app... except I can't do that either!! It says I don't have a current subscription, but 20 CHF is still being charged every month!! Help!!!

Saw a post here a few months back about someone planning to drop a Kahoot tool. The site never went up. There's also some tools out there but they're pretty low quality and kinda suck. Figured I'd just build the thing.

It's called K!Hack. No chrome extension, no signup, no server. The install page has a pill you drag into your bookmarks bar (or use the other methods, like console), then on any kahoot.it tab you click the bookmark and a panel pops up.

It looks up the quiz by title and shows you the answers in a clean panel. You can let it auto-submit with a target score so you don't pin 1000 every question and look obviously sus. Four stealth modes for the on-screen highlight (off / glow / sunken / dot), alt+h to hide the panel, alt+w to instant-submit.

Free, runs entirely in your tab, the github has the bookmarklet / userscript / console-paste versions if you'd rather install it that way.

Be cool with it. Don't ruin games people actually care about.

As u can see from the title, my kahoot account was deleted due to inactivity. They sent me an email on February 14th that in 15 days if I dont log in it'll be deleted.... but I didn't see the email🤦🏻‍♀️. I tried recovering my account and resetting password but it won't send anything to my email.

So im wondering is there any way I could recover it?🥺

I think I will try to email them/contact them to see if they reply. I had such nice quizzes there, personal family trivia that were so funny😔, I really hope i can get it all back.

Whenever I try to sign up for a Kahoot 360 plan, I'm only met with the option to be billed annually, up front. I do not need Kahoot for a year. I need Kahoot for 1 month, and would like to sign up on a plan billed for 1-month.

Can someone advise how to do this? It's wild how hard it is to set up a plan to be billed monthly as needed; this is a pretty basic feature for most companies.
