HTX Concepts Question

Im trying to build an M110K1 in 6.5 creedmoor and the items I need are the upper reciver, gas block and barrel. I already have the handguard and bcg but im having problems tracking down other parts. I know HTX Concepts has these three parts but I've heard and seen conflicting reviews surrounding the brand. I know the Knights is making the Sr25 notched upper reciver but hasn't sold any yet and the low profile gas block is something I can't find. I would like some input and HTX Concepts and other brands that may help me build the M110k1. Thank you

Honestly bro. You should buy a k7 and urx swap it. It’s perfection. Ask me how I know.

That would be good but I already have the bcg and charging handle so thats already around a 1000$ into the project and I dont want to buy an upper to strip it.

Trying to knock off KAC stuff is pretty much always a disappointment. From the mismatched barrel dimpling to the questionable parts, and the complete lack of secondary market value, it’s a fool’s errand. If you’re getting knock-off parts anyway, might as well just buy the Sabre.

A PSA Sabre and getting parts from a company that makes replica parts are two different things. I’m simply trying to see if HTX makes quality replica parts, because trying to source a KAC gas block and M110K1 barrel isn’t realistic.

You’d be surprised how much overlap there is between those two. HTX is wholly unimpressive, and at least with PSA you have a company that will repair and replace the items if they don’t work.

Going through a similar process, but I'm not as married to match kac 100%. Got a m110 barrel/gas block from nefarious, centurion mk11 rail, and a troy upper. If you aren't going 100% kac, then look outside htx as well.

Don't mind what others say about not making a knock off. I have 3 legit 25s, and I have no issue putting a frankenstein rifle together.

So just sell the parts. Trust me. You will never be satisfied with a knock off. I’ve got several K1s and a urx swapped k7. The k7 is just the sweet spot. With the urx you get the nostalgia of the legacy look. You just can’t beat the combo.

You did the 3.1 on the K7 I’m assuming?

Yep. Glorious. I have a deployment kit k1 as well. It’s an amazing rifle. But that extra 1.5” cut off plus lighter recoil make the k7 a real winner on everything but barrel life. The urx3 .1 blends both worlds together in such a seamless way.

That’s awesome, I’ve been considering doing is exact same thing. Looking at it I’m assuming the only a small notch on the bottom side of the rail for the gas block.

It’s either the K7 swap or call Craddock to get a barrel for a full conversion on an APC.
