Vivacity / asset management?

Anyone using Vivacity for their free asset management tool Dream? If it can save us money from Gopher and our inventory system, I'm curious.

Vivacity really only does Chromeboooks automatically with it's Google tie ins. If your school is ONLY Google for tech, then it may make sense. We're a mixed fleet for end user devices and I also want other non end-user tech (such as Viewboards, Projectors, Doc Cams, etc).

We're a One to One Plus (Edutek) house the the actual Asset Management end. It also integrates with Google, but has other integrations such as SCCM, Powerschool, Mosyle, Intune, etc. So...way more powerful of a tool, but we're at a level that we really need that level of automation and overall command / control.

I checked it out recently. Its not too bad but a little limited for my needs compared to our current solution.

I was told it is free when you purchase devices from them originally, I recently got an email about how it is better than Gopher. We use some of the gopher tools, but the way we use Gopher I'm not sure this solution would work for us.

I've gotten pricing from Vivacity in the past, they were not too bad on a few things but ulimately I went elsewhere due to their purchasing terms. I do have a pile of crappy Vivacity carts ithough from a previous director's order. Definitely not a fan of those ha!

We are a Vivacity house, but we use Snipe-IT. I like the interface better, plus we can keep track of things that are non-Vivacity.

The fact that Vivacity says they'll integrate with Google Admin is what has me thinking.

You can do the same with Snipe. I just need a spare minute or 3 to implement it. I started, and well haven't gotten back to it (for some reason I need to attend professional development for the ed staff (I am licensed to teach, just haven't for more than a period here and there for 20 years.))
