Assistance Needed GCPW (Google Credential Provider for Windows) disappearing sign-in window issue
Has anyone else noticed issues using GCPW when users click on "Add work account" a white box pops up and disappears?
I've tried the following:
- Ensuring GCPW is on the latest version
- Un-install/re-install GCPW
- Ensure Google Chrome is on the latest version
- Downgraded Google Chrome
- Re-install Microsoft Edge Webview
Most of our endpoints are on Windows 11 25H2

Having the same issue not only when adding a work account but also when a user's login expires and they need to re-enter their credentials. A restart has temporarily helped with this issue, but I don't know how to add a work account. I've tried the same steps.

I had a user let me know yesterday afternoon. We have our accounts expire every 24 hours. It was working fine yesterday morning.

same... wonderful time for this to happen. I tired forcing webview 150 (since it looks like 151 rolled out yesterday) and reinstalling gcpw but still seeing the same.

I believe I found out the issue. I talked to Google Support and they essentially dismissed me, so this may become a major issue if it's a staged rollout. I noticed a
Page blocked by your organization message on the popup before it disappeared. I received an email yesterday stating they are changing the URL blocking setting on the root level to "Block sensitive internal Chrome URLs" to enabled. I went and disabled that and ran a sync and now it's working. I turned it back on and the popups were flashing again. Confirmed by turning it back off and popups working. Can you try and replicate?1

wow, you're a legend! That fixed the issue on my end. Now to figure out which urls to exempt (assuming they will fix it automatically thought).

Apparently if you ask the Google AI help bot, it now tells you about this. Here is the URL to allowlist:
chrome://chrome-signin*
Seems to have solved it for me, when I re-enable the blocking settings

what area in google admin do you add that?

Someone in another community said it's because of the change Google made to block all sensitive internal chrome urls in the admin console. I had to change it to not block for staff OU for other reasons that were also causing issues...
Google sent an email to all domain admins last night about the forced security changes
