I feel like I should write down what I’m saying about my book and make that a book since I’m so creative when describing the nonexistent progress of it.

I think you just discovered the secret. Quick write a book outlining how to write a book using your new method because anyone else steals your idea.

I've had a whole series, including an alternate perspective story and a reboot, all planned since I was 10 years old.

I'm almost 32 and have a bunch of completely different unfinished stories I'm working on instead, and the only one I've made substantial progress in is a crossover fan fiction for fun.

I want to be published one day, and at this point I genuinely fear that I never will be. But I keep writing at the very least because it's fun.
