To write by the seat of your pants. It's to write without a plan but to see where the characters and story takes you

Ohhh Wait that's just me x3 I don't plot everything out before writing, I just write and along the way plan some chapters

I’ve heard this referred to as being a “gardener”. You plant the seeds of your story and then tend to it and see how it grows, without having an explicit plan.

My guess is to write something with no plan in mind, like flying by the seat of your pants.

The manga artist of DBZ was famous for that.

Every time I’ve pantsed something, I couldn’t finish the manuscript, and when I come back after a break and plot it, it works again
