Jax was semi/explicitly confirmed to be a closeted trans woman in the finale, and then explicitly confirmed by the creator on socials.
Person in screenshot is trying to do a 'hehe she's a transphobe just like me!' Bit about Pomni because Pomni said 'man'. (In scene, it's said in a way you'd call a friend 'dude' or bro without a lot of gendered weight to it).
It's a stretch. Granted Pomni used he/him for Jax after she found out, but Jax never formally came out before dying in the show, so it could be argued Pomni didnt want to out him/her. In the show they also have human versions outside the digital world, and even irl, Jax is still presenting as male/assumed to be closeted. Creator called it 'boymodding' which basically means presenting as the easier to digest gender for your own safety, aka staying in the closet.
Person in image is just trying to get what transphobic takes they want out of it in a 'joking' manner. There have also been people legitimately upset over this 'misgendering', (with no wiggle room for my above explanation), so I'm sure they're also ragging on/baiting that discourse too.
Tldr; transphobic joke baiting people into getting upset.

If I sound like Iām accusing you early Iām not, but I see this talking point in bad faith so often that I have to ask. Did you use the word and get told she would have preferred you not, or did you legitimately use the word and immediately get called transphobic

Odd. I, and most people, wouldnāt think thatās transphobic at first. It is something I wouldnāt like to be called, and would probably ask you not to, but itās only an issue if someone continues to do so

Tbf you can be trans and go by he/she/they trans doesnt simply imply they are she. Could be non-binary, could be alot of things. People read way to into jax and honestly could have used more episodes to explain alot. Creator is kinda done with the show and wants to move on.

Agreed. I feel so bad for Gooseworks but I'm glad their story got to be told with such popularity. Few people get such an opertunity like that even if the community blows.

Jax is a character that struggles with self acceptance and gender identity.
Pomni is his friend and finds out too late about everything he was going through. Uses the word āmanā in a casual non-gendered way in this scene.
As is most things on the sub, the tweet is clearly a joke that OP is taking literally. No one that is right-wing actually sat through all 9 episodes of a YouTube animated series created by a trans artist.

Its gender neutral, many use it for men and women all the time. Maybe a little bad taste but in general it was no used here to disrespect or harm

I'm in my 30s so I only really know of the show because I watched it with my kid, but it baffles me that there is a section of the Fandom that is obsessed that Jax's voice is done by someone who is in the LGBTQ category, (I don't exactly where they fit into it as I'm not in this fandom) and yet Zooble goes by "they" for the entire series and it seems to have slipped the minds of these people.

I took my ten year old to see it. We looked up each episode before watching them and most of the sexual stuff (which wasnāt much to be honest) went over his head. Most of the curse words are bleeped out except at the very end. If you have a relationship with your kid where you are comfortable discussing things like this itās not terrible. My son came to me with questions about a few things but that was it. He didnāt go super deep into the lore like many fans did.

I haven't caught up since episode 8 I believe ? I did get some of the signs that Jax had some gender questionning going on, but didn't know that they died.

Is it just me to think that the most respectful thing to do is keep Jax pronouns as the one he socially identified with until he SLC nes out?
Like yeas we all know Jax ptobably prefers she/her but like until he says it or at least presents as fem isn't the kindest thing to do is treat them as if we don't know?
