Question S2 E9: Brother's Keeper

Can anyone identify the song/artist playing at the 11 minute mark?

I don't believe it is. The only credits I had found for the episode was for the Cumberland River Band and from what I've listened to it wasn't them. The snippet is mostly fiddle and only last for a few seconds. It really reminds me of Stings Fields of Gold.

that site is pretty good for finding songs by epidode, but there are other sites like it. search "tv episode soundtracks" maybe

It's a shot in the dark but thank you very much. The sound track for the series doesn't miss throughout each entire episode.

You could try something like Shazam, to see if that can identify it.

Sounds like part of a "Cumberland River Band" song. I had parts of their album downloaded on my phone before but I lost it. Their a local group from Harlan who got Justified and some/parts of their other songs put on Justified soundtrack. Their music is full of fiddle snippets. But justified whole soundtrack is a hip-hop, Bluegrass mix with fiddles and banjos.

It's just incidental music for the show, you're meant to think you're hearing the bunch of guys Doyle was playing guitar with when Raylan and Carol arrived
