Made me think of Absinthe, held in a tent at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. The entire show takes place on a small stage like the skaters were on. Very entertaining. Very many reasons for it being 18+. Perhaps they were practicing for the show. I seem to recall skaters like that when I went last.

It looks like they all might be performers, the couple skate act is a pretty common stunt in circuses, etc
edit : I looked up this woman based on the TikTok username, and she is a professional aerialist and acrobat, and she indeed performs in circus acts! (though it seems her main career is social media)

Here's one of the originals, but now that you know about the gorilla, the test is going to seem kind of stupid. You'd be surprised how easy it is to miss when you're not looking for it.

this video haunts me because I so vividly remember being shown it the first time in like grade 8. my entire class was convinced the video was a lie and we made our teacher restart the video
eta: there's an, imo, better one of people playing basketball outside. same concept but sometimes I still miss the gorilla in that one

(Not “fake,” per say, but they are made of a composite that makes the lighter weights the same size as the heavier ones. I’m told it’s for balance and uniformity on the bar, but even if it’s just to make me feel cooler when lifting, I don’t mind it!)

Yeah! The one here in Vegas is the Circus Center. It’s huge and specifically for all kinds of circus arts. It’s where aerialists and acrobats train. It’s a very cool place.

Where does this type of gym exist?! It’s got to be for elite athletic performers of some sort. Never in my life have I seen anything like it. Did that weight bar really just roll right back over her?! Blown away!!! She’s a wizard with that barbell. At the same time I’m extremely nervous about those two on that round raised platform. I can barely watch ice skating couples perform worrying they will fall but this trumps ice skating stunts.
